1. Data Collection

The X Mute extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All muted word preferences are managed directly through X's (formerly Twitter) own muting system.

2. Permissions

This extension requires minimal permissions:

• Access to x.com and twitter.com: Required to interact with X's mute settings
• activeTab: Required to function only when you're actively using X

3. Third-Party Services

This extension interacts only with X (Twitter) and does not use any other third-party services.
